BRAND: PERTH ZOO AGENCY: THE BRAND AGENCY
When we saw these scripts, we knew street casting was the answer. Actors are great, but some of the best performances we've directed have come from people who are simply being themselves. In this case we called on a Sydney drag queen, a small-statured stunt-man and a Chinese physics student (example attached) to bring the campaign to life. |

BRAND: MCDONALD'S AGENCY: DDB
The brief was “Create the new Hamish and Andy.” So Eardrum’s casting fairies spent weeks scouring the seedy, smoke-filled comedy clubs of this country, banging back warm beers and forcing fake laughter. Until they discovered two separate comedians - that sound inseparable. |

BRAND: SNOWY MOUNTAINS BREWERY AGENCY: EARDRUM
In an market filled with big beer companies, it’s always refreshing to hear from the craft (don’t call them ‘boutique') brewers. Now in it’s third campaign, the Snowy Mountains Brewery ads are still centered on the characters found in this small mountain town (and we’re still doing it for the beer). |

BRAND: MCKENNA AGENCY: HOST
While William Shatner may have tarnished the reputation of spoken word poetry, this campaign for McKenna bourbon shows that there is still hope. In a beatnik style that is Ginsberg to the bone, it demonstrates that with the right casting and the right direction - all words are poetry. |

BRAND: COMMERCIAL RADIO AUSTRALIA AGENCY: SMART
The one inch punch, a snake bite and a Beretta 92. Some of the most powerful things in life happen in seconds. The sonic brand trigger Eardrum created for the launch of Digital Radio Plus is designed to prompt brand recognition in under 3 seconds. Blink, and you still won't miss it. |
